Long Time....

Ok, so much for my resolution to post 3 times a week (or whatever it was).  These last months have been so crazy and hectic that I feel like I barely have time to do anything, let alone think of witty things to say on my blog.  But I do promise that I will try to be better.  We have been through some major changes lately and are so busy as a result.  Alison and Aubrey are now taking gymnastics class and Amber is taking art camp.  It's amazing to see their little personalities come out in these varied ways and I'm proud to see each daughter growing in her own special way.

For those of you who follow my facebook you know that last week was (indeed) my favorite week of the whole year.  Not only did we get to celebrate Valentines Day (yes, I'm one of those saps who actually likes a holiday that is based on making sure you tell people how much you cherish them) but my birthday was also that week. I have to tell you that during that one week every year I truly make sure to sit back and think about all the amazing people I get to share my life with.  I have the most wonderful family and friends and am so blessed.

Tommy and I also started planning our 10th Anniversary trip that we'll be taking this summer.  My fantastic, unbelievable friend Celeste has offered to watch all three girls for a week so Tommy and I can take a cruise.  For those of you who don't know, we never got a honeymoon.  He was not able to get any time off of work so we literally got married in San Antonio and drove back here to Norman 2 days later so he could get back to work.  This will be our honeymoon.  As Celeste said, it's 10 years too late but that just means we'll enjoy it so much more!

Anyway, I will start posting more often and appreciate all the support I've gotten from all of you.  And I do want to send a great big thank you to Gwen for kicking me in the butt and telling me to get back on here to write some new material!  I'd forgotten how much I like just sitting down and writing what I'm thinking, even if it's the most boring drivel ever.  It's the perfect way to unwind after a long day and I will be doing it again soon.

I hope you all are having a lovely, lovely day!
